How to Use Multiple Lead Types

Lead types are like sub accounts that can be used to manage different teams. Customers use them to manage everything from offices in different states, to different business units (Example: Home buyers vs home sellers). Here's how to create and manage your different lead types.

Create Multiple Lead Types

Each lead type has it's own lead sources, team and lead routing settings.

STEP 1: Create a New Lead Type

Click on Lead Types under Settings.

Click Add Lead Type in the top right corner.

Name the lead type and save it.

You will now see the different lead types listed on the leads page.

You will also notice that most of the pages under settings will always be referring to only one of your lead types at a time.

STEP 2: Assign a Team To Lead Type

Select which team members need to access to this lead type from the lead type page.

Make sure you select yourself or you won't be able to view the lead type.

You can also edit what lead types a user has access to from their user profile.

STEP 3: Create Lead Sources For Lead Type

Go to the lead sources page under settings and add the lead sources you will be getting leads from for this lead type.

Make sure you are editing the right lead type. You should see the name of the lead type at the top of the page.

STEP 4: Create Notification Order For Lead Type

Go to the lead notifications and routing page under settings and select who you want notified when new leads come in for this territory.

Make sure you are editing the right lead type. You should see the name of the lead type at the top of the page.
