What is Universal Search?
Universal Search is a new and improved search experience in LeadSimple that lets you find information across your entire account in one place. Rather than navigating to individual sections to find what you're looking for, you can now search across leads, contacts, properties, processes, tasks, and notes — all from a single search bar with a refreshed, easier-to-use interface.
The core search hasn't changed — everything you could find before, you can still find the same way. The update just adds new features on top, including the sidebar search experience.
How to Use It
Click the Search bar at the top of the left sidebar (or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + /) and start typing. Results will appear instantly, grouped by type — Contacts, Tasks, and more.
Don't See What You're Looking For?
A couple of things to try:
Scroll the dropdown — The search dropdown is scrollable. If your result isn't immediately visible, scroll down within the pop-up window to see more matches before assuming something isn't there.
Use "Search all results" — At the bottom of the dropdown, click "Search all results for [your query]" to open the full results page. This shows grouped results across leads, contacts, properties, processes, tasks, and notes, with tabs so you can filter by type.
Switch to the "All" view — On the full results page, if you're not seeing something you expect, scroll to the bottom of the list and select the All view. This pulls in everything, including items that might be filtered out of the default view.
