What changed
Email templates in LeadSimple are no longer scoped to a single process or pipeline. Previously, each process or pipeline kept its own separate list of templates, which meant that if you wanted to use the same template in more than one process, you had to recreate it from scratch each time.
Templates now live in a single shared library accessible from every process and pipeline in your account.
Why we made this change
This update was made in response to feedback from several users who wanted to reuse the same email templates across multiple processes and pipelines without recreating them manually each time. Duplicating the same template in many places, and keeping every copy in sync as content changes, is often manual and error-prone. Wording or link changes had to be updated separately in each process/pipeline, and it is easy for copies to remain outdated. Sharing templates account-wide eliminates that duplicate work and keeps your messaging consistent no matter which process you're working in.
Finding the right template for your process or pipeline
Because all templates now appear in a single list, it can appear at first like everything has been merged together with no way to narrow things down. That's not the case; you can filter the template list by pipeline or process to quickly find the templates relevant to what you're working on.
To filter your templates:
Open the email or text templates view from your process or pipeline settings.
Use the filter option to select the specific pipeline or process you want.
The list will narrow to show only the templates associated with that selection.
This lets you keep the convenience of a shared template library while still being able to quickly find templates built for specific workflows.
