Organizing Users into Teams

Group users by department or market, then filter people lists and the Team Performance dashboard by team.

Written by Alexa Roeper

Teams group users by department or market so people lists stay short and easy to scan. A user can belong to more than one team, which is useful for anyone who spans two markets.

Creating a team

Go to SettingsUsersTeams tab. Create a team and add users to it.

Where teams show up

  • Settings → Users: filter or group the user list by team.

  • Phone and Inbox settings: add a whole team as connected users on a phone number or email address instead of picking people one at a time.

  • @mentions and task reassignment: narrow the picker to one team, or start typing a name to filter the list as you type.

Filtering the Team Performance dashboard

Go to Dashboard and scroll to the Teams section. Use the team dropdown to filter the user table to a single team.

The summary cards (Tasks Due Today, Overdue Tasks, and Future Tasks) recalculate for the selected team only. Choose All teams to go back to the full account view.

Good to know

  • A user on more than one team appears under each of them.

  • A user on no team still appears and is selectable everywhere.

  • Non-admins still see only their own performance, whatever the filter is set to.

  • Accounts with no teams configured work exactly as before.
