The Contacts and Properties pages in LeadSimple are the master databases for every contact and property in your account. Beyond simply storing records, these pages give you the tools to filter your data, export it, and clean it up by merging duplicates.
Contacts
Navigate to Contacts in the left sidebar to view every contact stored in your account.
What You'll See
The Contacts table displays:
First Name / Last Name
Company Name
Primary Phone
Primary Email
Tags – e.g., Unidentified Caller, Rentvine Sandbox Tenant, AppFolio Integration Test - Tenant
Created At – the date the contact record was added
The Total count at the top left shows how many contacts exist across your entire account (e.g., Total: 93,670).
Filtering Contacts
Click Add Filter to narrow the list down — for example, by tag, creation date, or other contact attributes — instead of scrolling through the full list.
Contacts Toolbar
Three icons sit in the top right of the Contacts page:

| New Contact | Manually create a new contact record. |
 (merge arrows) | Merge Duplicate Contacts | Opens the duplicate-merging tool, which scans for and lets you combine duplicate contact records. |
 (cloud download) | Export Contacts | Downloads your contact list (based on current filters) as an Excel file for use outside LeadSimple. |
Properties
Navigate to Properties in the left sidebar to view every property in your account. This page has two tabs:
Properties – one row per property.
Units – one row per individual unit, useful for multi-unit properties (e.g., 10032 Hagenes Ville with many named units listed separately).

Type (sortable)
Units – number of units on the property
Tags
Integration – shows if/how the property syncs with your property management software

The Total count reflects how many properties or units currently match your filters (e.g., Total: 2,887 properties, Total: 44,763 units).

Merging Duplicates
Both pages share the same core purpose beyond record-keeping: cleaning up duplicate data. Clicking the merge icon on either page (Merge Duplicate Contacts or Merge Duplicate Properties) takes you to a dedicated tool where LeadSimple identifies likely duplicate records and lets you review and combine them — keeping your contact and property data accurate and consolidated.

Points to Remember
The Contacts and Properties pages in LeadSimple are databases of all the contacts and properties in your account.
The main tool on these pages is the duplicate merging tool — allowing you to find and merge any duplicate contacts, properties, or leads.
