How to Set a Default Outbound Email Address for Sales Pipelines and Processes

Set an email address to be the default sending address or any pipeline or process type.

Do you have a certain email address that you want emails to come from in a pipeline or process type (for example, leasing@abcpm.com in the Applications process)?

Find out how to do this below!

Note: The method for setting a default outbound email address is the same for both pipelines (CRM) and processes. For this example, we'll use a process.

Navigate to Your Process Type

There are two ways to get to the general settings for a pipeline or process.

The first method is to navigate to your desired process, then click the "Settings" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

The second method is to click on "Settings" in the left-hand sidebar, then click "Process Settings."

You'll then need to select your desired process from this drop-down menu in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

Set Your Default Outbound Email Address

Once you're looking at your desired process, click on "General" and scroll to the bottom of this page until you see "Default Outbound Email Address."

Click the drop-down menu and select your desired email address from the list. (If you don't see your desired email address here, that means it's not connected to LeadSimple and you'll need to do so by following these steps).


Now all emails in this process will come from this address!

Removing the Default Outbound Email Address

If you no longer wish to have a default sending address for a pipeline or process, simply click the dropdown and then "None Selected" to revert this.
