By default, LeadSimple pulls owner and tenant contacts from all "Current" stages.

Now you can select the specific stage you want LeadSimple to pull contacts from for each contact role in each process type!

This is especially helpful for the Move In process, so you can ensure only future tenants will be pulled into your Move In processes.

You'll find the setting on the contact roles for your Move In process type. Be sure to change the setting for the tenants to "Future Tenant" or the equivalent in your account.

Or review more detailed instructions below on how to locate this setting:

Setting Up the Move In Process to Pull in Only Future Tenants

First, navigate to the settings for the Move In process. Click "Process Settings" in the lefthand sidebar:

Then, make sure you are editing the move in process using the drop down menu in the top left.

Then click into the General tab.

Locate the contact roles on this page.

(Don't have contact roles set up in your process yet? Check out this article.)

Be sure that the pipelines are selected for each contact role. Owners should be coming from your PM software owners pipeline and your tenants should be coming from your PM software tenant pipeline.

Finally, select the stage for LeadSimple to pull the tenant contacts from. For most processes, leave this setting as "All Current stages", but for the Move In process, you will want LeadSimple to pull the contacts from the "Future Tenant" stage.

(Note that your account might have a slightly different name for the Future Tenants stage.)

There you go! That's how to set up your Move In process to only pull in future tenants!
