We recently launched a partnership with Citizen Home Solutions to help you streamline your move in and move outs even more by simplifying the utility transfer process.

What Does the Integration Do?

The integration syncs tenant move in and move out data to Citizen Home Solutions. This includes your new approved tenants that have a move in date and have synced over from your account software into the Future stage in LeadSimple.

That way the data is already there for you in your Citizen Home Solutions account! No need for manual data entry or sending the data over in an email.

How to Utilize the Integration

If you are a current Citizen Home Solutions client as of September 2024 the integration is already live in your account! πŸŽ‰

If you signed up for Citizen Home Solutions after September 2024 or do not see it in your account, simply reach out to us at support@leadsimple.com to activate the integration in your account.

  1. Check your plan to see whether the integration is included in your current subscriptions:

    1. If already using LeadSimple for operations, you will need to be on the current LeadSimple Operations plan to use the direct API integrations. (Your plan will say Operations (Legacy) if you are on our legacy ops plan).

    2. If new to LeadSimple and just using LeadSimple for the Citizen Home Solutions integration to get started, contact your CHS rep to create your account for you.

  2. Check your accounting software plan:

    1. If you use AppFolio, note that you will need to be on AppFolio Stack in order to connect with LeadSimple through the AppFolio Stack integration.

    2. For Rentvine, Rent Manager, Propertyware, or Buildium, you do not need a specific subscription to use their API integrations.

  3. Connect your accounting software to LeadSimple following these steps.

  4. Activate the Citizen Home Solutions integration under Settings > Integrations in LeadSimple.

  5. Add an email template to your move in and move out processes in LeadSimple to prompt new tenants to set up their utilities, including a link to the Citizen Home Solutions portal.

Since your tenant data will be syncing directly to Citizen Home Solutions you don't need an extra step to notify Citizen Home Solutions about the new tenant!

Turning the Integration On/Off

If you are a current Citizen Home Solutions client as of September 2024 the integration is already live in your account. πŸŽ‰ You can access it and turn it off if you prefer on the Integrations page under Settings.

If you signed up for Citizen Home Solutions after September 2024, simply reach out to us at support@leadsimple.com to activate the integration in your account.
