If you delete an application in AppFolio, you may find that the application will be stuck in a certain status in LeadSimple without updating to canceled.
Why does this happen?
The stage in LeadSimple is mapped directly to the status in AppFolio. If LeadSimple stops receiving the application through the API integration (due to it being deleted in AppFolio), the application will remain in the status we last received from AppFolio.
To fix this, go ahead and update the status of the application in AppFolio to canceled before deleting it. That update will come through the API to LeadSimple, allowing for the application to be updated accurately for you.
