Sometimes you will have duplicate applicants in your rental application pipeline from your AppFolio integration. Learn why in this article!
Reason #1: the applicant applied for multiple properties
If the applicant applied for multiple properties, each application will sync over as a separate lead into the pipeline in LeadSimple.
Reason #2: the applicant transferred their application from one property to another
If the applicant transfers their application from one property to another, AppFolio will change the original applicant to a guest card and create a new application for the new property.
This causes the original applicant lead to be moved to a guest card stage in LeadSimple and a new application lead to be created.
If you want to hide those guest cards from your active rental applicant list, add a filter and saved view to exclude the guest card stages from your dashboard view!
