Sometimes, if you have an off-short virtual assistant working for your company, you may see some odd due dates or activity times in LeadSimple. (Example: your VA set a task's due time for 3pm, but it shows as due at 1pm your time).
This is because of the time zone discrepancy between your company's time zone and your VA's time zone.
This article explains what is happening and what to do to fix it.
Areas where discrepancies can appear:
Completed activities (such as completed tasks, sent emails, etc) in leads and processes will show the exact time that the activity occurred, based on your set time zone in your profile.
So, if your VA in a time zone 2 hours ahead of you completed a task at 10am their time, it will show as having happened at 8am your time.
Manually Added Task Due Dates
If your VA creates a task and sets the task due time, LeadSimple will use their time zone for the due time. So, if they are 2 hours ahead of you and set the task as due at 5pm, it will show as due at 3pm your time.
Manually Added Process Due Dates
The same thing goes for process due dates. If your VA creates a process manually and sets the process due date and time, LeadSimple will use their time zone. So, if they are 2 hours ahead of you and set the process as due at 5pm, it will show as due at 3pm your time.
Manually Updated Lead Created At Dates
The same thing goes for manually updated lead created at dates. If your VA updates a lead's created at date and time, LeadSimple will use their time zone. So, if they are 2 hours ahead of you and set the lead created at time as 5pm, it will show as created at 3pm your time.
Date/Time Custom Fields
The same thing goes for date/time custom fields. If your VA updates a date and time custom field, LeadSimple will use their time zone. So, if they are 2 hours ahead of you and set the custom field time as 5pm, it will show as 3pm your time.
Tasks Created Automatically from Workflows
On the other hand, your workflows will use your company time zone (as set on your Company Settings page) when creating tasks and setting their due dates.

If your VA's are setting tasks and updating custom fields for the team, you should change their time zone in LeadSimple so they are on the company's time zone rather than their own.
