Settings Menu
The Settings menu is where account-wide configuration lives in LeadSimple — user permissions, company information, integrations, texting/phone setup, and your pipeline and process settings. Most pages in this menu are only accessible to Admin users; users with Limited Access will not see the full Settings menu.
Navigate to Settings in the left sidebar to expand the list of settings pages.
Note: Some sections described below only appear depending on your account's add-ons and your user permissions:
The Inbox Settings page only appears if you have access to the Inbox feature.
The VoIP (web) routing option under Phone Settings only appears if your account has the Phone + Inbox add-on.
Company
Configure your business-wide information across three tabs:
Business Information – Your business name, website, brand color, legal business name, business tax ID (EIN), business type, industry, and address. This is also where you're notified that messaging-specific privacy, terms, and consent pages now live in the Compliance Center.
Phone Settings – Shared office phone numbers, your outbound Caller ID, and Call Recording settings. (To purchase or manage individual LeadSimple phone numbers, use the dedicated Phone Settings page instead — see below.)
Email Settings – Manage Shared Email Accounts that can be connected to pipelines or process types and used as default sending addresses.
Billing
View and manage your subscription:
Overview – Current plan, monthly payment amount, renewal date, payment method, and a link to view invoices.
Usage, Invoices, and Plans & Add-ons tabs let you review consumption and change your plan.
Users
Manage everyone on your team:
People tab – Every user in the account, their status (Active), and their role (e.g., Admin, Limited Access).
Click + Add User to invite a new teammate, and use Search people or the Team filter to find someone quickly.
Teams and Roles tabs – Organize users into teams and review role assignments.
User Roles & Assignment
Set up User Roles, which let you involve multiple team members in a process — assigning steps to specific roles and auto-assigning those roles when a process is created.
Each role shows how many Pipelines and Process Types it's tied to (e.g., Account Admin: 3 Pipelines, 7 Process Types). Click + Add Assignee Role to create a new one.
Property Groups
Property Groups let you automatically assign processes to the right teammates based on the group a property belongs to. You can:
Manually create groups with + Add Property Group.
Sync groups directly from your PAS i.e AppFolio ,Rentvine ,Buildium etc using the sync buttons at the top of the page.
See how many properties are in each group at a glance.
Property Forms
Configure which fields are Visible and Required when creating properties, broken out by property category tab — Residential, Multi-family, Association, and Short Term Rental.
Fields are grouped into sections like Address, Property Details, and Unit Info.
Integrations
Connect LeadSimple to your other software. Integrations include:
Property management systems – AppFolio, Buildium, Propertyware, Rent Manager, Rentvine (each syncs owner, tenant, property, and vendor data).
Lead capture – Jotform (auto-create leads/processes from form submissions).
Scheduling – Calendar (Google/Apple/Outlook sync), Calendly.
Marketing – Mailchimp.
Automation & reporting – Zapier, ProfitCoach, Rescover, PMW.
Custom development – REST API.
Connected integrations display a green Connected badge (e.g., AppFolio, Rentvine, Jotform in the example account).
Custom Fields
Custom Fields let you add custom data to leads, processes, and properties, which can then be used in email templates, conditional logic, and custom dashboards.
Each field shows its Label, Data Type (Text, Number, Multiple Choice, URL, etc.), Default/Value, and which Pipelines it applies to.
Inbox Settings
Visible only if your account has access to the Inbox feature. This opens a dedicated settings panel with its own sub-navigation:
Auto Assignment – Create rules that automatically assign incoming inbox conversations to specific team members (e.g., an inbox tied to a specific assignee). Click + Create Assignment Rule to add one.
Email & Phone Inboxes – Manage which inboxes feed into LeadSimple.
Email Blocklist – Block specific senders from reaching your inbox.
Tags – Manage tags used to organize inbox conversations.
Quick Replies – Set up canned responses for common replies.
Phone Settings
Manage your LeadSimple phone numbers, routing, phone hours, blocking, and messaging compliance:
Numbers tab – Lists every phone number on the account, filterable by type (All, VoIP, Forward, Port Pending). Selecting a number lets you configure:
Routing – Choose a Routing Type of either VoIP (web) (only visible with the Phone + Inbox add-on) or Forward to phone, plus which Pipeline, Lead Source, and Connected Users the number routes to.
Audio & Greetings – Manage the audio played to callers.
Phone Hours and Blocked Numbers tabs – Set business hours for calls and manage blocked numbers.
An account-wide alert may appear here if phone number registration is required to continue sending/receiving text messages, along with a link to the Messaging Compliance page to allow you to submit your texting resgistration.
Pipeline Settings & Process Settings
Round out the Settings menu with dedicated configuration pages for your pipelines and process types (stage and workflows and more).
