PSA: This article references the direct integration LeadSimple has with Rentvine. If you aren't familiar with that integration, learn more here!
So you're looking to integrate Rentvine with LeadSimple to sync your owner, tenant, applicant, vendor, and property/unit data to LeadSimple automatically. Great!
READ THIS: The direct Rentvine integration is only available on the current retail Operations plan as updated on October 1, 2022; it is not available on legacy Operations plans. If you signed up for LeadSimple before October 1, 2022, you are most likely on a legacy pricing plan. As an admin, check your billing settings to see what plan you're on before proceeding with the steps below. If you are not on the latest pricing plan and want to get the Rentvine integration, contact us: support@leadsimple.com and we'll get you upgraded!

Note: If you use Zapier for any automations triggered by new leads, be sure to pause your Zaps before integrating your data from Rentvine.

โAlternatively you can add a filter to your Zaps to only continue if the new lead was created in your Owner Lead pipeline.
#1 Generate the Rentvine API Credentials
To activate the integration, you'll first need to generate an API key in Rentvine to later on input it into LeadSimple.
In Rentvine, click on the 3 dots near the left bottom corner to open the menu and then click on Settings:
Once you are on the Settings page, click on Users, Roles and API under the Account section
Now click on the Api tab and then on New API Key
You are almost there! Now just name your API key and make sure you select Administrator as the Role
Congratulations, you've just generated your API Key Credentials!
Do not close this dialog yet since you won't be able to see the secret again!
#2 Activate your Rentvine Direct Integration in LeadSimple
Log into LeadSimple, and in the left sidebar, click Settings, then Integrations
On the new page, click on Rentvine and then click Add new Rentvine Integration
Now you just need to enter the credentials you just got from Rentvine!
p.s. the subdomain is the first word of your Rentvine URL in your browser
i.e. for https://propertymanager.rentvine.com the subdomain would be propertymanager
Click Save Integration and your data will begin to sync for the first time.
#3 Turn on Applicant Sync
Now you need to turn on Applicant sync and Work Order sync.
Click on the integration again to open it, then click Sync Applications.
Click on the toggle to sync applicants.
This will automatically create a Rentvine Applicants pipeline and start syncing applicants into that pipeline.
You can also view and update the settings here:
#4 (Optional) Turn on Work Order Sync
We also sync work orders from Rentvine and sync work order data back and forth between Rentvine and LeadSimple via our 2-way sync with Rentvine.
Note that Work Order Sync is only available on our premium Comms plan, so you may not currently have access to this feature.

To turn this on, click on Sync Work Orders.
#5 (Optional) Customize your pipeline/stage configuration
LeadSimple will create Rentvine Owner, Tenant and Vendor pipelines automatically for you. You are able to customize some of the settings if you want to, including:
The pipelines that owners, tenants, vendors, and applicants sync to in LeadSimple
The stages which owners, tenants, vendors, and applicants sync to
Not only can you choose which pipelines to sync Owners, Tenants, Vendors, and Applicants to but also choose which stages you want current, past, and future clients to sync to.
Click to turn on Advanced Mode in the Sync Owners, Tenants and Vendors section in the integration:
LeadSimple keeps the stage up to date with the status of the Owners, Tenants, Vendors, and Applicants in Rentvine. For example, if you stop managing properties for an owner, and Rentvine moves that owner to the "past" status, LeadSimple will update the stage of that owner in LeadSimple to the stage you select for "Past Stage" in these integration settings.
