We just launched Property Group sync for Buildium!
The automatic sync of property groups removes the extra manual step of adding or removing properties from your property groups inside LeadSimple. π
This article walks through how to transition from any manually added property groups you use to the property groups synced directly from Buildium.
Getting Access to Property Groups
You may not currently have access to Property Groups from Buildium if you are on our Legacy Operations plan.
You can get access to the direct API integration with Buildium, as well as automatically syncing property groups by upgrading your plan to the current Operations plan.
Go to the Billing page under Settings. Then click "View All Plans" to see the Operations plan and upgrade.
Sync Your Property Groups
Step 1: Rename your current property groups
Before you can sync your property groups from Buildium, you will need to rename any property groups already in your LeadSimple (if they match the ones you want to sync from Buildium.) The system will not sync a property group if there is already one in the account with the same name.
Click Settings > Property Groups, and then click on the property groups you'd like to edit. Give it a new name, and then click Save.
Step 2: Select the property groups you'd like to sync from Buildium
Next, go to your Buildium integration under Settings > Integrations > Buildium.
Click on your Buildium integration, and in the window that appears, click "Property Groups".
Choose the property groups you'd like to sync into LeadSimple.
Then click "Save Integration".
This will trigger a resync of your data so those property groups will come over. Depending on how many properties you manage, this may take from 15 minutes to a couple hours.
Step 3: Update Your Processes, Autopilot Rules, and Filters
Once the property groups are set up and syncing, you'll want to update all the places in your workflows where LeadSimple is using the old manually added property groups.
Be sure to check:
Your Autopilot rules
Your pipeline or process filters & saved views
Conditional Logic on workflow steps
Auto-assignment for user roles
Update all of these locations that use the old property groups with the new ones syncing from Buildium. π
Step 4: Delete the Old Manually Added Property Groups
And finally, you'll want to delete the old property groups that you added manually.
Click Settings > Property Groups, then click the trash can icon on the right of the old property groups.
