4: Tasks in LeadSimple

Learn how to find your tasks and complete them in LeadSimple.

Your Tasks page is where all the work assigned to you lives — every to-do, call, email, text, meeting, process, and stage change compiled into a single, filterable list.


Finding Your Tasks

Navigate to Tasks → All Tasks in the left sidebar to see every task assigned to you. Tasks are grouped by status, with Overdue tasks displayed first so you always know what needs attention right away.

You can also access Standalone Tasks from the sidebar — these are tasks that aren't tied to a specific lead or process.

Filtering Your Tasks

At the top of the Tasks page, a set of dropdown filters lets you narrow down exactly what you're looking at:

Filter

What it does

All Tasks

Switch between viewing all tasks or only tasks related to a specific pipeline/process.

Kimberly/User

Switch between viewing all tasks assigned to you or a specific user.

Manual

Filter by the task type whether it is a manual task or an automatic task

Upcoming

Filter by Upcoming /Completed

All Types

Filter by task type — call, email, to-do, text, meeting, process, or stage change,quote requests or owner reviews.

You can also filter tasks by pipeline and process, so it's easy to focus on a specific workflow instead of scrolling through every task in the account.

Use Sort: Overdue first (top right) to change how tasks are ordered as well as filtering using priorty low to high :

Points to Remember:

  • From the Tasks page, you can:

    • Complete To-Do tasks by clicking the radio button next to the task.

    • Complete action tasks by selecting the appropriate action icon, such as Call, Email, or Text.

    • Open the associated Lead or Process by clicking through to the record linked to the task for additional context or to complete more detailed work.
