Use Tenant Turner to schedule showing with your resident leads? Set up LeadSimple to automatically send the Tenant Turner showing link to prospective tenants after they inquire about a property!

Note that this article covers how to send Tenant Turner showing links to prospective tenants that come from other sources. If you'd like to have Tenant Turner leads come into LeadSimple automatically, follow the steps in this article!

Step 1: Add the Unique Tenant Turner Link

Start by adding the unique Tenant Turner link to your properties that sync from your accounting software.

First, add a URL custom field to your Units (can also be a property custom field but make sure to add it as a Unit custom field if you manage multi-family properties) called Tenant Turner Link.

Then add the unique links for each property/unit to each property in the new custom field.

Go to the Properties page in the lefthand sidebar. Then click Units at the top of the page.

You can filter your units by your accounting software integration.

Then click into a unit and click the pencil icon on the custom fields section in the righthand sidebar.

Update the Tenant Turner Link custom field with the correct link for this unit.

Step 2: Set up your listing sites to send leads to LeadSimple

Next you need to set up your listing sites where your prospective tenant leads come from to import those leads into LeadSimple.

Follow the steps in this help article to do this.

Important: ensure that your listing sites use the exact property address & unit as you have it entered in your accounting software (ie. 123 Main Street Unit A rather than 123 Main St Apt A).

This will help ensure that LeadSimple is able to match the property with your existing properties syncing from your accounting software.

Step 3: Set up an email template in your pipeline to send the link to the tenant

Next add an email template to your prospective tenants pipeline.

Click Settings > Pipeline Settings in the lefthand sidebar.

Then make sure you are looking at the settings for your prospective tenants pipeline using the menu in the top left. Click Email Templates in the lefthand sidebar, then click Add Template in the top right.

Write up your template and then make sure to add your tenant turner link merge tag to the template by clicking { and searching Tenant Turner Link or using the merge tag menu in the left of the editor bar.

Then save your email template!

Note that we offer free email templates and stages and workflows for prospective Tenants! Find it in the Library in LeadSimple or reach out to us at support@leadsimple.com and we can help you add them to your account.

Step 4: Add the Template to Your Workflow

Finally, it's time to add the template to your workflow!

Go to Stages and Workflows in the lefthand sidebar on the Settings page.

Then either click the + icon to add a stage or click on the stage name of an existing stage to pull up the workflow for that stage.

Click the Email button to add an email step to the workflow:

Then click the Attach Template icon on the right of the step.

Search for and select the template that you added in the last step.

Finally, click the automatic icon on the right of the step to make the email task automatic.

Step 5: Make sure that your sources are routing to the correct stage

Finally, ensure that the stage with the automatic email including the Tenant Turner link is at the top of your Prospective Stages.

This is important to ensure that all of your leads will start in this stage. You can also route your sources to specific stages if you'd like.

And there you have it! That's how to set up your Tenant Turner showing links to send automatically to your tenant prospects from other sources!
