11: Creating a Basic Workflow

Learn how to create a basic workflow of steps, both automated and manual, to help you follow up with leads.

Points to Remember

  • Get to the Stages & Workflows page by clicking Settings > Lead Type Settings > Stages & Workflows. 

  • All new leads are automatically added to the first stage in the Prospective category (the default is “New”). You can use the Source Routing (link to article below) feature to map your sources to different stages (this feature is only included on Compete and Dominate plans.)

  • You can create a whole series, or workflow, of steps inside each stage that will then be applied to each lead as they are put in that stage.

Action Items

  1. Add a couple more steps (calls, emails, todos) to your “New” workflow. Add a description or template and a delay for each step.
